Thank you Croydon ❤️

@shivmalik Gracious, generous democratic reaction. Proper grown up. Sorry but enjoy that family holiday.

@charliemansell Props for this. Proper leadership - well done Rowenna. I was really impressed at the bravery of your campaign and how you tried to reach a new audience. Need more of that in our politics.

@martinangus This is a really classy concession speech. Thank you for accepting defeat with such good grace

As a tory, thank you. We need more sweet, passionate, local & positive voices like you. Croydon would have been an even better place with a mayor like yours.

@NDIronsMP This video & your concession speech were both very gracious and classy. You should be proud of your campaign 🙏

Thank you for running such an energetic and positive campaign. I appreciate all the effort you and your @CroydonLabour colleagues put into this.

Commiserations,Rowenna. You have worked very hard for years, with this campaign.All the best.

I know it must hurt at the moment but you should be proud of a fantastic campaign and you gave a lovely, thoughtful concession speech.

you’re an inspiration Rowenna. hoping we see you back in Labour politics as soon as possible!

I'm sorry you lost, you came so close and would have been a very fine Mayor. I wish you every success in future.

@jpcookie50 class

No one is disappointed Rowenna. We’d vote Count Bin Face in to send Starmer a message, its not personal.

You're a class act. Take it easy, Rowenna🏖️

Gracious, classy and articulate. Don't give up!

thank you for running a great campaign and commiserations on falling just short.

Very gracious. You've certainly gained more respect from me.

@thomasbowell Congratulations on a great effort @RowennaDavis it was a close contest and could have gone either way 👏

Classy speech. Best of luck for the future.

Croyden lost a gem

You did an amazing job Rowenna. I'm sorry the national mood held you back.

I’m not disappointed, I’m thrilled. And you didn’t run a good campaign, you ran on a condescending, irritating platform. Typical of the born-to-rule type you so clearly are.

Thank you for running such a positive campaign and reaching out to all corners of the borough

You have a good holiday and hope you are successful in whatever comes next. ❤️

This is v classy, keep going we need more people like you

Run for mp Croydon south

It was a privilege and pleasure to be part of @RowennaDavis campaign and a whole lot of fun too. The results didn’t go our way , Rowenna energised and engaged so many of all ages , she will build on this and be a key player in #croydon future .

Thank you for everything! ❤️

I’m not disappointed. Labour have done all they can to destroy and bankrupt Croydon. Thank god you lost.

Siri, show me a class act… 👀

You ran an inspiring and exciting campaign, proved yourself a truly impressive campaigner, I hope it’s not the last time you run for election.

Congratulations on your efforts, Rowenna!

@Michelle_Kazi So sorry!

Beautifully down @RowennaDavis But PLEASE get your party to recognise women as adult human females and then I can vote for you again!

Nope. Not disappointed in Labour losing. Not ever.

What a lovely statement. Bravo. You should be proud of your contribution.
