That’s what I call neighboring. People used to look out for the kids on the block. If someone had to run into town for milk, the neighbor would say, “Leave your kids here while you’re gone—it’s fine.” When a baby was coming, the neighbor took the other kids so Mom and Dad could go to the hospital. And when the whole house was down with the flu, a pot of chicken soup showed up at the door. Nobody neighbors like that anymore. That man was wonderful. That little fella will remember the tracks on Mr. Smith’s driveway for the rest of his life. Neighbors. That’s community. 💖

I need to show this to the soulless ghouls who serve on my neighborhood’s HOA board. This is humanity and neighborliness at its best.

We need more of this, in our World!!!

I love this so much and have ❤️ed so many posters. But, I'm ashsmed to say, for a moment, I was scared that if a child accidentally fell or got injured, the poor homeowner might face a malicious lawsuit. It's probably something that keeps folks from being so neighborly anymore.
