I am a United States Navy Vietnam Era Veteran. I was stationed aboard the USS America (CV-66) during the years 1974 - 1978. I never saw combat action as the Vietnam War was winding down when I entered the military at 17 years of age. As a veteran, the combat veterans like Michael have my upmost respect. They are the true heroes of this planet. Combat veterans should be making the millions of dollars for their service, not today's athlete or entertainers. Rest in Peace Michael, well done sir!

We loved Mikey “Wheels” as he was affectionately called. A true hero and a wonderful person I remember when I found out he was a playwright such an interesting man. He’s now with his Frieda RIP.

Scott we are all heroes in some bodies life. I would say you qualify as a hero in all you have done in your way for our country. And I sure thank you for bringing to light this quiet, courageous man who did all he did for our country and other veterans… it’s a beautiful story. We can all only hope when our time comes we have all done quietly are part for our country and mankind.
