That's very much like how I found my Bichon, Bonnie. She'd been dumped in the middle of a road at a county park. I just couldn't leave her so I got her into my car and brought her to my vet. She was so filthy, matted, cowed, I was sure she was old. When I picked her up she'd been shaved and she looked and acted like a puppy. Vet said she'd likely been a breeder disposed of after a recent litter. (This pic is from shortly before she passed away 15 years after I found her)

Good save looks like he’s had some love at some point. He’s pretty calm. You never really know what happens to people and why they do the things that they do but angels sent you to save him so thank you.
