I saved a duckling like this once and the mother immediately started trying to drown it when it was free 😕 not sure what happened after I left, I think about this quite often.

Even a simple human move can save a life.

Multiple things can be right/wrong at the same time. Great to see someone helping an animal in distress. 2 hands would have been less stressful than 1, but clips for social media are a priority. Unfortunately egyptian geese are highly invasive in Germany.

What's about those stupid people always filming what they do. "Look what a good person i am". Wouldn't be surprised if many of those clips were pre arranged with poor animals being put into those tricky situations to "help" them after.
