Thank you too, I can now enable Stage Manager on my iPhone 🤯 Note that the current way to enable iPad features are straight up hacky: trick SpringBoard into thinking it’s running on iPad (UIUserInterfaceIdiomPad), so everything else is affected (control center and status bar)

The iPad's external display support is underrated. I connected my iPad to a Studio Display and ran Workbench. Now my headless Mac mini (back in Minneapolis) is running full-screen on a 27" display in Ohio. Remote Mac on a Studio Display through an iPad. Pretty wild. 🤯

One of the biggest breakthroughs for iPhone emulation just happened. You can now set up SideStore, install StikDebug, and enable JIT without ever touching a Mac or PC. When I roll, I’m not trying to win as much as I’m trying not to get injured. My default mode is defensive driving. I’m trying to get to my destination without getting in a wreck on the way there. In this clip, I counter the waiter sweep early because I’m sensitive to my knee locking up. If my leg gets bent some type of way, my meniscus catches and locks up, so I react early. Not necessarily because I’m trying to stop the sweep, but because I’m protecting my body. That sensitivity actually becomes good defense. Keeping my leg straight stops the waiter sweep before it starts. I feel this way about MMA grappling. It’s more intuitive because the main priority is obvious: don’t get hit. That removes a lot of decision fatigue. In sport Jiu Jitsu, there can be too many options, too many techniques, and too much thinking. That’s one of the traps for Jiu Jitsu nerds. If you get too deep into the tech, you can end up frozen by choices. The other solution is to systematize everything, and that kills creativity. Just protect yourself and everything else will fall into place. Learn Jiu Jitsu.

Deep down, I want to dive deep into running & train like an elite just to see how fast I can run! Thank you so much Patrick for capturing this! It’s the first time I have a video of myself running, from which I can study & interrogate my running form! This guy is over it with all the unnecessary apps and “smart” everything. He bought a light bulb that wants him to download an app just to turn it on. Then he goes off about appliances that beep like they just landed on the moon, fridges with iPad screens, and how ridiculous passwords have gotten. He’s basically saying we’ve overcomplicated everything for no reason. A lot of people are feeling this way lately. Do you think we’ve gone too far with smart technology and apps, or do you like having everything connected? I think it's gotten out of control as well.
