My last 24 hrs: Trying to make it to Tel Aviv. First flight from DC cancelled due to weather. No worries. Took 3hr train to Newark. Flight delayed 2.5hrs due to weather. 4hrs into flight, unruly passenger requires return to Newark.

Guy who disrupted a flight to Tel Aviv and forced a return to Newark not even arrested. Just wondering the airport pleading his case. Unbelievable.

There's got to be a law that if you disrupt a flight and force a grounding, you go to jail.

Latest: When we landed at 615am, @united crew told us we would have hotel vouchers where we could stay until 8pm flight. We've been waiting in line for vouchers for 4 hours at airport. Found out hotel won't let us in until 3pm today. I'm literally Tom Hanks in Terminal today.

I travel by air regularly and this is a case of "I am in charge, you will do as I say."Power trip by crew. What about the passengers on the plane. He goes to the bathroom and return to his seat. Ban him from future flights. But no, turn the flight around!

The federal government needs to start pushing these cases to the wall when prosecuting them. People think that flight attendants are "sky waitresses" and can be ignored. They are actually highly trained flight crew members there for the safety of the passengers and aircraft.

So why disrupt everyone else? Handcuff him to a seat or something, but get to your destination and then hold him accountable, but don't make every other passenger miserable just because you can. SMH 🤦🏼‍♀️

I think there could have been a better solution. Interrupting the entire passenger itinerary would be a bigger problem than a crew's comfort. They could have just as well had him arrested in Israel.🧐

This is ridiculous returning the flight full of passengers for one unruly guy and putting everyone in terrible state, just because you can do it. United should be held accountable and compensate each individual with at least 1 million USD. More reaon to hate United. 👎🏻

Seems like massive overreaction by United Air & its crew. Punishing the entire rest of the passengers because of a shouting match with one bozo? The guy was not violent, just unruly. There are far better ways to deal with this than penalizing everyone. Shame on United Airlines.
