I have a friend that went through this horror, he didn't track down his parents until he was in his late thirties. He is now in his sixties and it still haunts him. It was an Australian catastrophe and needs to be taught to everyone.

It needs to be spoken about and not “whitewashed “ These events have had inter generational trauma for so many and an ugly part of our history.

It’s terrible, very hard to imagine the extreme mental anguish of those little kids and their parents. I am pleased that is has come out in the light recently. We must ensure it never happens again.
