Thanks for the memories, skip ❤️

Gotta be the most depressing summer window of all time

Model pro. Top captain. Numerous hair styles. Down with the kids dance moves. Monster against Spurs. Getting on. Big wage off the books. On balance, it's probably for the best. I dare say he's knew of a no contract offer for a while.

Im sorry but this absolutely criminal not keeping him on, he was head and shoulders above most players in that second half of the season! Thank you Jonny and all the best in the future, you'll be a huge loss!

He played injured when we needed him the most, and this is how we treat him 🫣

So we have let Rav go for pennies and now not even bothered to off this man an extra year. We’re an absolute joke of a club!! After everything Howson had done and not even be offered a contract is criminal!!!

My captain, thank you Jonny. All the best to you #UTB this was 8 years ago!

Week ruined

What a player. What a leader. One of the best to do it at the club for me. That performance against Spurs to me was personally the best individual one I’ve seen for us live. Phenomenal player. Genuinely gutted! All the best capt 🫡♥️

Class act. Thanks Jonny

Please get him back for one of the home games (not a friendly) so we can say goodbye and thank you properly, he deserves this and do we #legend

Ffs stop with all this retire a shirt number bollocks

That goal against huddersfield will never be topped

Gutted 💔

Go well Jonny. Phew

Captain. Leader. Legend🇦🇹

@izzyslovenian Will miss ya Jonny ☹️

A true club legend, but it was the right time.

Why are we letting him go? Madness.

Club legend good luck Jonny thanks for the memories 👊🏻

Will never forget ‘Give him a pair of sunglasses you absolute gangster’ 😔

Might be the final straw… if I hadn’t already renewed, don’t think I wouldn’t be. Taking a month to sack Carrick, ages to appoint the only guy really considered, months to release new kits with a brand that can’t get labels right. Then you let Howson go. I’m actually furious!

Legend ❤️

Class act not many of his kind left in the game, inspirational, leader and legend are some of the things that come to mind when I think of Jonny he will be missed at the Boro 😥

🫡

He has come home to lufc to work with the under 21s

I know this is a Boro page but I'll never forget his goal for us against Bristol Rovers to bring us back from the Ashes my first game at ER. Absolute Legend 🐐

Well done boro, club legend

Piss poor decision worrying window this

If 13 Apparel we’re to do a tribute to @jonnyhowson16 which iconic moment in which shirt would it be?

Great captain, great pro and genuinely top bloke.... Good luck Jonny H... UTB
