Thanks so much everyone for your kindness regarding my recent trauma. It’s hugely appreciated. If anyone has any more suggestions for me on how to tackle this, let me know. Thank you. ❤️

I have no suggestions but I want to re-emphasize the importance of your compassion toward this person. The display of humanity and support to the downtrodden doesn’t go unnoticed. Hope your healing process is swift and trauma free. Keep on that grind ❤️.

When i taught first aid I always did a session on how to deal with an incident. Reaching out and talking about it is the first step. Hang in there. You can pm me if you need to talk.

The best thing to do is talk about. It sounds like you have a good support system. Make sure you keep active. It helps get your mind on other things.

Being outside, in the woods or a field helps me. I had a different trauma from what you experienced. The only thing that was close was a pediatric call we had at my station. That one haunted me for about 6 months. Then I was sent overseas.
