@SethRudetsky @Linda_Lavin Such a perfect song. So absolutely gorgeous and heart touching. The arts would be nothing without Jewish people, and all they have contributed. It is beautiful to see this community stand up.

@SethRudetsky @Linda_Lavin If that doesn't make the hair on the back of your neck stand up... nd bring a tear to your eye, then you need to check yourself for a soul. Thanks for sharing this incredible video and song. Others may continue trying to rip down posters and photos, but they can't rip down love.

This year I would like to share my rendition of "Someday at Christmas." I chose this Stevie Wonder classic because its timeless message of hope, peace, and justice resonates deeply, especially in our country and the wider world today. It is a song that imagines a better future for ALL, and that is a vision I hold close. My sincere thanks to the incredible team at Grafton Studios for their dedication, energy and enthusiasm. To all the talented musicians and singers who poured their hearts into this song I am truly grateful. Your gifts brought this song to life. From my family to yours, I wish you all a peaceful and joyous holiday season. May the new year bring us closer to a Jamaica of harmony we all dream of. The Word is Love.

I wish all Muslims peace and joy as they enter this season of Ramadan: this special time of prayer, fasting and spiritual reflection. I give thanks for the great contribution of Muslims to our society, and for their great hospitality and welcome. I pray that this Ramadan is a time of renewal, and that we may continue to strengthen our bonds of friendship and work together for peace and justice.

At the Meeting for Peace with the Community of Bamenda, Pope Leo gives visible form to his message of reconciliation. From the front steps of Saint Joseph’s Cathedral, he releases white doves—a sign of hope for a region longing for unity and healing. “My dear brothers and sisters, today the Lord has chosen all of us to be the workers who bring peace to this land. Let us all say a prayer to the Lord that peace will truly reign among us. That as we release these white doves, symbol of peace, that God’s peace will be upon all of us, upon this land, and keep us all united in his peace. Praise the Lord!” And the crowd responds: “Alleluia!” Follow the Papal Trip at

Our hearts break for the families of the fire victims at Hillside Endarasha Academy. As an educator and volunteer, having worked with children, I can only imagine how gut-wrenching this must be. May their souls rest in peace. May God grant their families a peace that surpasses all human understanding. May the orchestrators of this tragedy forever be haunted by their cries. May we work towards creating learning environments that are safe for every child. May God remain our everlasting portion. We remember them here in song. May it be a balm to your hearts. Violin: Edwin Alubale

All praise and thanks be to Allah, who has once again blessed us with the month of Ramadan — a time to heal our spiritual wounds, to purify ourselves, and to be renewed! May our Rabb fill our hearts and homes with the joy and blessings of the Month of the Qur’an, and for its sake, may He bring smiles to the faces of all the oppressed and downtrodden!

Ramadan embodies the values of compassion, empathy and generosity. To all those who will spend this sacred time amid displacement and violence, I wish to express a special message of support. And I join those observing Ramadan to call for peace and mutual respect.

Michigan, we have the opportunity to send a simple, crystal clear message to America that we cannot and will not continue to fund genocide. We can change the course of history. Thank you, Ro Khanna, for your courage and steadfast values of humanity, dignity, and peace for all.
