i hope the player characters don’t look like that. imo pokemon has a huuuge aesthetics problem. this would benefit so much from a better art direction, especially for a game like this where player customization will effect the character you see during ALL aspects of gameplay

This is the "Day/Night" system. ☀️🌙 We recently reported that several assets were added for a special Pokémon background, and here is a simulation of that. These Pokémon can be caught at special PokéStops with the day/night system enabled. We still don't know how these PokéStops will be chosen or which Pokémon they will be; the Mewtwo in the video is just an example The Pokémon's background should reflect both the location where it was caught and the time of day. #Datamine #PokemonGO

Step back to 30,000 feet remove the emotion and you can then identify the game being played. Once people know what the game is, it upsets the game board, and we can go back to winning. Cells VS Viruses: A possible theme for Pokémon LegendsZA? Horizons is clearly drawing many parallels to Z-A and even X & Y, but one of the most interesting IMO is that Rakurium might be its own parallel version of Zygarde. This episode went in depth on explaining how Rakurium works like cells,and then it went on to show that Zygarde is made of Zygarde cells. I don’t think this is a coincidence. We also know that the ultimate weapon could’ve originally been a virus-like Pokemon but then it was cut. So is Rakurium some sort of virus that affects a being’s cells? Could we see a parallel to Rakurium in Z-A? Maybe they bring back this virus Pokémon as the “A” in Z-A to rival Zygarde?

And that is not how anything works. David Deutsch has a great definition of wealth, which he says is the set of physical transformations that we can affect. So, when you think about it that way, you realize that knowledge is not just stored capital in the classic Marxist sense (capital vs. labor), but it's also knowledge on what to do with that capital. The cavemen or Palaeolithic ancestors had access to all the same resources we did. They were living on the same Earth, and by the modern environmentalist arguments, they had a better Earth—they had more to do things with. But yet, they couldn't do anything. They were not wealthy by any stretch of the imagination. Why? Because of knowledge. Life is not a zero-sum game, it's a positive-sum game. But we are hardwired to think it's a zero-sum game because, for millions or billions of years, there was no such thing as wealth. There was no such thing as persistent knowledge creation in the environment. What you had was a small amount of resources being divided up, and most of the games were status games—'Which monkey outranks which other monkey?' And that decides which monkey gets to eat first. We played that game for a billion years. Now, we come onto a recent game where, actually, we can all eat, and the big problem is obesity. It's no longer starvation. The big problem is boredom. It's not actually work. There's enough work. So, in this environment, switching your evolved mindset from a zero-sum game to a positive-sum game where we can all win, if we create knowledge together and use the resources that we have to create more resources and more wealth, that's the game we all need to be playing now.
