Thanks to leaks, we now know Pokémon Project Synapse – a new online multiplayer Pokémon game is being unveiled this week. But what is Pokémon Synapse? The short answer is we don't know yet, we know it's multiplayer and likely being developed by Pokémon Works, the new company set... by ILCA and TPC, but we have some hints about it from last year's Teraleak. In the Teraleak there was another game that fit this description - the cancelled Pokémon Project Rodeo. The game is also an online multiplayer game for both Switch and smartphones and revolves around using ride Pokémon to defeat rampaging Pokémon. In the pitch document for it, it mentions some Splatoon references for the fact that you can customize your characters and your gun (yeah it has some kind of gun), and the fact that it's a team based online game. While Rodeo was cancelled, we think that parts of it have been reincorporated into Synapse, what we don't know yet is how different it is now.show more

No hate to whatever this is, but i really prefer Unova remakes. The Presents will most likely be ZA gameplay trailer and this as the “one last thing”

How do we "know" this is getting revealed this week? We know it's game they may or may not be developing, but wouldn't it be speculation to say it will forsure be revealed this week? Unless I missed something?

i hope the player characters don’t look like that. imo pokemon has a huuuge aesthetics problem. this would benefit so much from a better art direction, especially for a game like this where player customization will effect the character you see during ALL aspects of gameplay

This is the "Day/Night" system. ☀️🌙 We recently reported that several assets were added for a special Pokémon background, and here is a simulation of that. These Pokémon can be caught at special PokéStops with the day/night system enabled. We still don't know how these PokéStops will be chosen or which Pokémon they will be; the Mewtwo in the video is just an example The Pokémon's background should reflect both the location where it was caught and the time of day. #Datamine #PokemonGO

HD: Also what I would to ask to the community if theres Pokémon we dont have dub for them, would any of you guys like to dub any Pokémon in the Game for the mod? Think this will be a free mod at the end and there will be the credits for every people that voiced a Pokémon. So if you guys are interested on contributing Feel Free to DM me and ill try to setup a discord server to start developing more the project.

The story of the Pokémon Rescue Team: the heroes that rescued Pokémon trapped on forgotten cartridges. In 2017, The Pokémon Company released this nostalgic commercial featuring a fictional team that takes on the task of finding and rescuing your precious Pokémon friends from old games. It highlights how even after so many years you can still go on adventures with your Pokémon. Reality has changed a lot since then; currently, once the Pokémon Bank closes, there will be no official way to transfer old Pokémon to current games. The company deleted the video a few years ago, hoping we would forget about it, but we've recovered it

Pokémon Stadium, running natively on iOS and iPadOS for the first time. Pokémon has been all over X this week because of Gen1Recomp. That made me want to bring the original Pokémon Stadium to iPhone and iPad. Not an emulator. The game has been statically recompiled and rebuilt as a native ARM64 app rendering directly through Metal. No N64 hardware being simulated, no ROM interpreted at runtime, no streaming from a Mac. And it is more than a new way to play it. AnnePad fixes several of the crackle and audio-timing problems that crop up when Pokémon Stadium is emulated. I genuinely think it is the best way to play the original game today. Pair a Bluetooth controller and play the whole thing. Touch works too, and multiplayer. I used Codex 5.6 Sol to build the Apple layer. Open sourcing it all below.

After becoming the strongest we learn that the last thing is to befriend all Pokémon. But for Ash he doesn’t fully break the barrier between people and Pokémon While succeeds in saving the Eon duo, to him, it ends in failure in a way

Step back to 30,000 feet remove the emotion and you can then identify the game being played. Once people know what the game is, it upsets the game board, and we can go back to winning. We are in the thick of it people, and we have to fight.side by side with trump. This is not a movie and we are not guaranteed anything. good luck to you all #Longlivetherepublic

We built a real-time multiplayer game generated entirely by a neural network—and now you can actually play it. In collaboration with Modal, we just launched the live demo for MultiGen, our diffusion-based multiplayer game engine. Grab some friends and try it here 👇

Becky Lynch on kayfabe being dead in WWE. “The fact that we know what kayfabe is means it’s dead. Um, and we have a show about it being dead.” “It is dead because we have wrestling journalists that want to know the secrets and then tell the secrets before the secret happens.”

Charlie Angus blasts Pete Hoekstra over his claim that Canada paying for the Gordie Howe Bridge is a myth: "That's bullshit. And you know that, and we know that, and we know that you know that. What predators do in gaslighting people is they feel they have some kind of power in being able to lie to their face -- and have the person that is being lied to know that it's a lie. It just shows their contempt for us."

🔥 Pokémon Red is becoming a go-to benchmark for testing advanced AIs such as Gemini. But is Pokémon Red really a good eval? We study this problem and identify three issues: 1️⃣ Navigation tasks are too hard. 2️⃣ Combat control is too simple. 3️⃣ Raising a strong Pokémon team is slow and expensive as an eval. We find most of the problems are not fundamental to games themselves, but how they have been used. We believe game-as-an-eval remains a compelling and underutilized evaluation strategy. We introduce Lmgame Bench to standardize game-as-an-eval. More details and findings in our blogpost:

Arteta: “We came here to win the game. I think the message was clear from three days before. We prepared to do that, to take the game to the areas that we believed we could win it. We certainly did that, even though we started the game with a goal down and psychologically we had to play with that. We've done it. “So we proved that we are there, but the reality is in the two boxes today was a difference and that's what decided the game. The styles have been different for the profile of players that we have available as well in certain areas, but the difference was 100 per cent, yes.”

Another Pokémon Platinum multiplayer project is in development, this time called Project PM! It shows a working Contest Hall with multiplayer support for Poffin-making, Wifi Plaza, and Battle Area. The Underground needs to be finished before a beta gets released, which is soon!

Crockett: I don't really understand what it is that y'all plan to go back and tell your constituents. The reality is that you have sold your constituents out for 83 people in this country. How is it that you can explain that we still are running up the credit card and we have nothing to show for it except for the fact that we won't have food on the tables and we won’t have health care.

It is finally done! The trailer for the indie game "Project Rodeo" is out! I did (almost) all the character animation, and all the editing and compositing for this one. The rest was handled by the team credited in the comments. This took a year to produce! But we KILLED IT! 🔥

Phang: Todd Blanche admitted in his filing yesterday that Jeffrey Epstein's email address was redacted. He calls it an inadvertent redaction and has since been lifted. This wasn't some one-off mistake. We know for a fact that the DOJ released over and over again, hundreds and hundreds of times, the personal identifying information of several victims. We know that the process was flawed. We know that it didn't work. And now we know that it also worked to protect the identity of Jeffrey Epstein, the main perpetrator of these crimes. And the DOJ wants to say, oops, sorry, we missed it.

I know Florida and Tennessee have banned it” “The Government would not do that to us - but now we know we’ve been lied to” “I have a feeling the majority of the population doesn’t want chemicals being sprayed onto us” For years this US Sheriff denied it was happening and now he understands it is - a harsh realisation coming into us all.
