We recently had to shut down our office and reduce our team from 13 members to just 4 due to financial constraints. It has been a very difficult phase for us. More footage of the first documented cougar family in Minnesota in the past century. Volume up for the full experience. More to come soon! Our goal is to learn as much as we can about these cougars in the coming months. But we could really use some help covering costs associated with this research. For instance, we collected 9 scats at this kill and they are on their way to a lab for genetic analysis to try to get individual genetics and determine what western population the mom and dad originated from. Genetic samples cost ~$55-70 per sample, depending on the type and quality of the sample. Your support helps us cover costs like this, and gives us the ability and resources to study these individuals, and any others out there we might learn of. By donating at the link below, you directly support this research. Plus, the support helps us have the capacity to send in any samples we collect in the coming months.Once we have results, we will share with everyone! Notably, we also analyze the genetic samples from every adult wolf we collar, pup we tag, or dead wolf we come across. That work has been supported ENTIRELY by folks donating to our project, and the results have provided a wealth of information on wolf pack and population dynamics. Thursday, the 28th November is Thanksgiving day in the U S A. Families will come together and celebrate the harvest and all the blessings of the year. It's also the time of year when people donate to charity and we wonder if any of our friends will remember the work that Ernestos does for the animals in war torn Syria? We have just had one of our worst months for fundraising, with the lowest donations we have seen for a long time. A little gift from our supporters means everything to our animals and to the lives of the 100s of animals we treat and help every day of the year. We want to continue to be there for them. To help as we have helped for the past 9 years. But first, we must make it through the winter months. Will you help us? We need fuel, we need food,we need medicines. But most of all, we need your kindness and your belief in what we do.

We are so proud of Ernestos today. Our team have worked so hard in Aleppo. The reception from the people of Aleppo was heart warming and the numbers of animals we helped was just fantastic. We want to help more - but for this we also need your help. The amount of vaccines and medicines and food and anaesthetic we are going to need is immense. So we are opening a fundraiser on our website - - where you can buy a vaccine for just 10 euros and we have increased our Justgiving fundraiser for the same reason. 10 euros is such a tiny price to protect a cat or dog from dangerous viruses. Please will you help us to help more animals? Life has been very bad to them over the last years. Let's now show them the kindness of Ernestos and our amazing supporters.

And so it comes to pass that we are finally put out of our misery, on the last game of season, and perhaps worst of all, at the expense of Tottenham staying up. Yes, it hurts. It's probably the worst feeling you can experience as a football fan. Some of us have been through it and out the other end, and for some of us this is the first time. If there is one huge positive to come out of this utterly dreadful season, then without question, it is us, the fans. We have come a very, very long way since a small group of us got together in 2022. This year in particular, we have exploded into action, and none of it would have been possible without the commitment given and the belief shown by so many people in this group. Truly, thank you to everyone who has helped us to get to where we are. We have brought friendships together. We have shown some much needed community spirit. We have created the pre-match concourse (which was absolutely insane today by the way). We have self organised our fan-made flags, adding some character and visual atmosphere to the stadium. We have funded and organised a tifo tribute to Ludo, one of our greatest West Ham heroes of all time. We have trialled vocal sections in the ground. And we won't be stopping here. In fact, we're just getting started. As well as the positives of having no VAR, no tourists, less commerialism, winning more (hopefully), and a whole year without having to listen to Gary Neville, a season in the championship gives this group a huge opportunity to organise ourselves properly and become a permanent fixture in a stadium that so badly needs something. Once the dust has settled, we will turn our attention towards planning for next season. We encourage anyone who wants to be surrounded by likeminded vocal fans to relocate to 142 - 147. Again, thank you everyone for believing in the IWA project. Enjoy your summers, and the further World cup disappointment with England.. We build from the bottom, and rise to the top. ⚒️
