Tribes have treaty, trust, religious, cultural, and subsistence rights. And, we are here fighting to make sure that is clear in the Congressional Record. But last night—Republicans refused to stand with tribes – as they tried to pass their 96-page Natural Resources bill in the dark of night, which is part of their bigger effort to get Medicaid, food assistance, and environmental programs to give tax breaks to billionaires. We won’t forget. But, we will continue to fight to protect the rights of our sovereign Tribal Nations!
