It’s likely worse than that for two reasons: 1) If they pay $4k/yr in taxes on $30k bonuses over 3 years, then get fired, they’d be out $42k — they won’t get $12k paid taxes back unless eligible for a refund in 2029. 2) They’ll be unemployable, if not also charged for murder.

My friend has worked for ICE since its establishment and is currently in “recruitment” - very little people have been paid that have been hired since September. It’s basically a volunteer service. I assume it’s another strat to make the people working there as insufferable as possible.

It's only for Student Loan repayments, It's only for 3 years. Payments are made to the Loan holder and not the ICE Employee. Only if the employee leaves voluntarily or is separated with Cause they MAY have to pay it back. This is why there should be an IQ test before Goons are able to speak on things.
