absolutely. To me the board was ready after step 4 or 5. There is another one with multiple wood brands, about 6x4x8 and after much torture you get a one ounce very pretty container... lots of waste

I I have a huge butcher block, made same way that my ex-grandfather-inlaw made WAY back when & use it every day! After he passed, there was a huge pile of "trash" at the curb. He'd built his own kitchen cabinets & these were the tops. I drove a small car so I beat the butcher blocks off & salvaged them + a few old garden tools, etc. Also a macrame beach chair his wife made...I still have all of it. 🥰
