That child isn't living, he's just alive

Very difficult position, but I think it would be better for the son to be in an institution then have the mom have a mental break down in the future and do something terrible to the child. Even if he’s institutionalized the mom can still visit him.

This must be exceedingly difficult. But he is not a “nothing”. He was created by God with an immortal soul. I hope you’ve had him baptized. Clearly God brought him into your life to test you; for your salvation & that of your family. Try & see Our Lord in him. May God have mercy.

The way she refers to her son is extremely callous with so much resentment. It’s good that she’s placing his care in an institution bc she isn’t capable of being a mother. Life isn’t fair with no guarantees. There’s a little soul trapped inside that body and it needs love.

This poor woman needs a rest. A dead husband, a totally handicapped child with no hope Of improvement ever. 24/7, no breaks and responsibility of another child. No human could handle that. Child needs to be in a care facility. This woman needs to be cared for🙏

I assumed that parents/next of kin have the ability to withdraw life sustaining care such as feeding tubes and ventilation when the child is in an unresponsive vegetative coma for life…. It’s like that in my state for adults at least. Idk why it would be different for a 7yo.

Imagine being this kid. Trapped in that body. Actually aware or his surrounded but enable to communicate unable to show he is there and his surround it his mom and everyone around him hates him. Just bc he is diferent. You are just a horrible mom.

Put him in the facility. From what it sounds like the sick child wouldn’t even know hes in the facility. Just do it. The older child doesnt deserve it and mum is tired. Hes better off in care.

It sounds like his base soul couldn’t connect. It happens sometimes, but usually they don’t survive more than a few hours. It is unclear if his top soul connected. It’s possible he’s aware, but unable to move.
