@coreyjames92 I think personally that it was a bit of an overreaction by the officer. They should be trained better to calm the situation rather than go right to cuffing someone and arresting them.

Yeah although the woman gave the officer a bit of an attitude at one point in the beginning, she did appear to really just be trying to help.

Al Dhahiry claimed she was targeted in an Islamophobic road rage incident by another driver. A woman was finishing up her day, and was walking to her car in the parking garage. She sees something that’s terrified her, a car is moving forward and is about to go over the edge of the parking garage. She rushes over there to find a young woman, she stops her from driving, the young lady just got done working and she’s very tired. She put the car in drive instead of in reverse and didn’t even notice she was going forward instead of backwards. I’m convinced the woman saved the young lady’s life that day, had she not intervened it would have ended very differently. Should she have put yourself in harms way like she did, should she have taken the keys away?

This woman was visiting NYC, she was excited to try the food and see the sights. She saw a few people take the pedi-cabs and thought it would be an amazing experience. She found one not in use and asked the operator how much a ride was, she had a few people in her group. He said it was $20. After the ride was over she was preparing to pay him and he told her it would be $500. She argued that he told her $20, he then said yes it’s $20, per minute, per person. She was so upset and fearful because she felt he was trying to intimidate her, so she called the police. I don’t feel this was right as she still ended up paying him $200 instead of $500. Should the police have charged him for scamming her, relieving her of payment?
