not just the way he fights but even his voice is way too different. Christan Bale isn't a bad voice for Batman (ignoring TDK & TDKR), but Kevin Conroy is just too perfect & iconic that the differences strikes you hard

Those ancient tibetan monks put some sort of voodoo magic on Bruce

I think this is my favorite of the shorts. The ending shot of Bruce with the pool of firearms was just perfect

that ending still sticks with me whenever I rewatch that short. A haunting reminder for Batman that no matter how hard he tries crime doesn't stop. So the guns represent his failings but him trying to get rid of them is his need to clean up Gotham.

The sad part is his teacher the woman he was saving that the mob calling her a witch threw him out. Honey, even if you took the hits and bottles, they would have stabbed you to death or worse and wouldn't care if you stood proud. You are giving them a free excuse to continue
