this might be one of the most quietly beautiful lines in the avatar Aang movie “air nomads are formed from the mist. we walk the world for a moment in time. then we return to the eternal wind” it teaches a lesson that all of us will probably face one day. it's not really about death.. it's about accepting that everything even ourselves is only here for a moment maybe that's the most beautiful part of the air nomad philosophy idk it looks like the air nomads were teaching a real life perspective on impermanence & acceptance it reminds me of ideas found in philosophies like buddhism and taoism where accepting that there’s nothing lasts forever is seen as one of the deepest forms of wisdom.
