Epstein Survivor Liz Stein: We have been called a hoax, and we are definitely not a hoax. But I think that the American people have seen through that, and they resoundingly responded in putting pressure on their legislators for the passage of the Epstein Files Transparency Act. So I think that the best way that the American public can support us is by continuing to put the pressure on and demanding accountability from our government to release all of this information.

I think that during especially during covid, I think that the doors were really open in trying to entertain any and every policy that was going to get us to a better place. And I actually think that the discussions that had that were had in that time were quite fruitful. I think that when we talk about crime today, it's fundamentally different than the way that we talked about crime in bringing crime down. Right. And I think that we all share in the goals of having as low a crime rate as possible. I think that, you know, during lockdown, of course, rhetoric in that time is not rhetoric that we would use today. And I'm grateful that these candidates have the opportunity to present who they are to their electorate and what they're campaigning on in this moment

Steve was asked about this at the post-game presser: “I think where we are as a franchise is we’re still a good team, still competitive. We’re trying to give ourselves a swing at the plate every year. We did that last year. The point of where we are with the age of our best players is we can still be good but we’re obviously not in the same class as we were 5-6 years ago. We’re not in the same class as the team we played tonight and several other teams in the league. There’s no point in denying that. We have to embrace it, be realistic, and give ourselves a shot. We can give ourselves a shot like we did a year ago by connecting and staying healthy and getting on a run. We’re still good enough to do that. If you do that and you have a shot, you get to the playoffs, you never know what’s going to happen. I think that’s where we are right now so we’ve got to keep fighting.”
