you're calling it "staggering" and "unforgivable" that nobody told you Mandelson failed vetting. But you stood at the despatch box in September 2025 and said three times that "full due process" was followed . The Foreign Office sacked its top civil servant over this . You're the Prime Minister. If your own department can keep something this big from you for over a year, how can anyone trust that you're actually in charge?

David Maddox published last September that No. 10 was informed Mandelson may have failed security vetting, contradicting Starmer's statement.

The story broke last September that Peter Mandelson had failed security clearance, and our PM didn't find out until last Tuesday evening. I've never seen such an incompetent PM. Whether he admits he knew or not, it's damning for him anyway.
