That is Alchemy’s first law of equivalent exchange

THIS IS DEADASS THE GREATEST ANIME OF ALL TIME MANNNN

Not crazy to say that

Sometimes I think this show was onto something with this. Every time I’ve attained something I really wanted, I gave up something. When I helped a patient who was suicidal I went crying home. When I helped someone who had depression, I started to think if I really meant the words I said and started to myself get depressed. When I made almost half a mil trading, I gained a substantial amount of weight I have yet to lose and also fatty liver disease. When I attempted to become great in trading I lost part of my humanity and almost my marriage. Is life just an equivalent exchange loop?

It’s never an “equivalent” exchange

Everyone needs to watch FMA: brother hood

Every single person needs to watch at at least once in their lifetime

not just the anime is goated but the fans are also have some very goated insight about this anime..

i think about the human requirement in the transmutation circle more than i should honestly. like alchemy demands a soul for a soul but real life just takes pieces of you without asking.

Holy fucking shit, I was just thinking of this edit today. 😭

Isn't the point of this show that the "rule" isn't necessarily true?

I saw this masterpiece on Toonami back in 2010 and it changed my life for the better 💎

Fine, I’ll rewatch fmab

One possesseth the capacity to bestow and to receive; nevertheless, no immutable decree guaranteeeth that an act of giving shall yield a harvest of return, nor that a favour accepted shall awaken a duty to render back.

Equivalent exchange is a lie, it's literally the whole point of the entire series

Although, Brotherhood is the original manga idea, 2003 version is my favourite. @Grok who has actually written the ending for 2003’s series?

the greatest of all time.

This edit is so goated🔥🔥

Gonna give my soul out
