As a rehabilitator of exotic birds for over 20 years, this bird is repeating only what it’s heard and been taught, Likely abused. That may be funny to some but the bird is traumatized and his aggressive behavior however well meaning will only ever drive the trauma deeper into the bird. He has no chill and lacks awareness. Cockatoos are the most spirited parrot I’ve ever worked with, even more hot headed than Amazons. The guy may be a rehabilitator but he’s messing up hugely. This bird needs a peace filled environment and it’s uppity vibe shouldn’t come from destroying a cage, something a parrot is smart enough to know is it’s own housing. Wish I could coach this person. He may care but lacks awareness. If he wants high vibes he can play music, not encourage violence, something especially exotic parrots are extremely responsive to, blek.
