The DWP has already stated that people transferred from prison to a hospital setting are NOT entitled to claim benefits. If you’re going to use welfare to whip up outrage, at least get the facts right.

Here’s my perspective: I hate that we can’t disagree with our friends from time to time. I’ve had people unfollow me because of one stance I’ve taken despite years of cordiality. I do think Jeremy Boreing is wrong in his evaluation of Mark Driscoll’s character. But I don’t expect to agree with Jeremy on everything, and I think that in general Jeremy is an excellent judge of character, and an indispensable voice of reason for the right. I appreciate the humble but firm tone he took here.
