🇵🇸🇺🇸 "THAT LAST UN SECURITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION ON OCTOBER 17, LITERALLY GAVE THE DEED OF GAZA TO TRUMP" Norman Finkelstein argues that if Saudi Arabia fully joined the Abraham Accords, Gaza would basically be abandoned by the wider Arab world. In his view, a later UN Security Council resolution...

🚨 🇵🇸 NORMAN FINKELSTEIN: "THE UN JUST DECLARED WAR ON PALESTINE" Veteran scholar Norman Finkelstein says the UN Security Council resolution isn't a peace deal. It's a death warrant signed by every Arab nation at the table. His verdict on Gaza's future: stay and die, or flee. Those are the only options left. He says the resolution eliminates any Palestinian right to self-determination and gives Israel total control over withdrawal timelines. He reserves his harshest criticism for the Arab states: “You're slaves and stooges." The Houthis? He'd take one of them over every Arab government combined. Russia's final warning to the Security Council: "This is a black day. Don't say we didn't warn you." Finkelstein sees no path forward. No two-state solution. No right of return. Just conditions that can never be met and a population with nowhere to go. The ceasefire isn't peace. It's managed erasure. We discuss: • Why Finkelstein says there's no evidence of mass rape on October 7th despite the many witness testimonies • How the UN resolution gives Israel veto power over any withdrawal from Gaza • Why "de-radicalization" and "reform" are vague terms designed to justify permanent occupation • What Russia meant when it said "don't say we didn't warn you" • Why he believes Arab nations folded under possible tariff threats • How Gaza went from one of the most densely populated places on earth to 53% "green zone" • What his new book reveals about corruption at the UN 03:00 – Finkelstein: “Roughly 1,200 people were killed on October 7th… 400 were combatants, about 800 were civilians.” 05:44 – “There’s no evidence that even one rape occurred on October 7th.” 09:19 – “Patten says she viewed 5,000 photographs and 50 hours of digital evidence... still, no direct proof of sexual violence.” 12:45 – “Israelis say rapes happened in the open to terrorize society—yet not one photo was taken?” 15:01 – “Israel is a citizen army… there’s a deep camaraderie that deters honesty about what happened.” 16:06 – “If I were interrogated by an Israeli, I would probably admit to having committed rape.” 18:45 – “Gaza was an inferno… the final nail in the coffin was Saudi Arabia joining the Abraham Accords.” 22:24 – “Gaza was already being described as a concentration camp by UN officials in 1950.” 25:32 – “By 2023, Gaza had disappeared from the headlines… it was dead in the water.” 27:18 – “UN Resolution 2803 literally gave the deed of Gaza to Donald Trump.” 30:36 – “Hamas endorsed nonviolent protest during the Great March of Return—and Israel shot medics, journalists, amputees.” 34:26 – “Do people have the right to be free—or the right to live like slaves in the West Bank?” 38:42 – “Condemn the atrocities? Yes. Condemn the people who committed them? No way.” 46:56 – “The UN resolution created a ‘Board of Peace’ with sovereign powers over Gaza, headed by Trump.” 58:02 – “Clearing Gaza’s rubble—just clearing it—will take over 15 years. Rebuilding it? Try 80.”

🇮🇱🇵🇸 "GAZA WAS BASICALLY AN INFERNO LONG BEFORE OCTOBER 7" Norman Finkelstein says we can’t know exactly what was in Hamas leaders’ heads before October 7, but he tries to imagine the mindset of the young fighters who broke out of Gaza that day. He describes Gaza as a place he calls a “concentration camp”: tiny, overcrowded, cut off by an Israeli blockade, with extreme youth unemployment and almost no future. In his telling, these young men grew up pacing the same fenced, in strip of land, feeling like their lives were already over, and when they saw the region moving toward deals like the Abraham Accords, they believed Gaza was about to be sealed off forever, which he suggests helped drive the decision to launch the attack. "I think it requires great powers of imagination, but without going through all the details, which I suspect many of your listeners know, Gaza was basically an inferno. Under the Israeli occupation it was already being described by Israel’s head of its National Security Council, Giora Eiland, as a, quote, “huge concentration camp.” His words. By October 2023, Gaza was being described by The Economist as a rubbish heap. Others described it as a human rubbish heap. Others described it as a toxic dump. The young men, the age cohort that burst the gates of Gaza on October 7th had been born into a concentration camp. They languished in the concentration camp, and it was almost certain they were going to die in that concentration camp. It looked like the final nail in the coffin of Gaza was going to be hammered in when Saudi Arabia joined the Abraham Accords. That was the expectation in 2023: that their fate was sealed. Gaza was over." Norman Finkelstein
