Thanos had the space stone he couldnt be contained. He would just leave after a while. This was dormamus dimension, he had nowhere else to go.

And Thanos would do same in million time. Dormammu lives in no space and time, and it feels confusing

Dormamu’s dimension exists outside of space and time. Dr strange brought time into his dimension and kept getting reset because of the time he brought. Thanos exists within time as a linear structure. This only works in dormamu’s dimension.

1, Thanos could be bested by physical strength, Dormammu could not. 2, the time loop is dangerous and could destroy reality, it was a bad idea in the first place. 3, the reason it worked is because Dormammu got bored. Thanos wouldn't, he loves breaking people.

He did. In one of the 14,000,000 ways they tried to win. It didn’t work. The only outcome where the avengers win is the one where Tony dies. Every other possible outcome ends with the avengers losing.

Because Strange had to use the Time stone to spring the trap. As soon as he SAW the time stone Thanos would just take it. He already had the Power, Space, Reality, and Soul stones by the time he faced Strange and Stark.

The dark dimension exists outside time and space .here strange got the time from our dimension to his, so that's how he made the time loop . but Thanos exists within time he has past , present and future unlike Dormamu. so strange putting him in loop doesn't change the outcome
