Quarter mile, almost every stock electric car will smoke any ICE engine car out there. The immediate and continuous torque cannot be generated by traditional engines.

Drag racing normalizes race conditions by letting the slower car leave first. The faster car is delayed. This makes it more about the driver and response time than the speed of the car.

That Stealth Gray Model 3 Performance looks just like my car. They don’t even have a special launch mode, but can still out-launch 99.99% of cars. To be fair, the McLaren driver had a horrible reaction time.

Yeah, he would've probably won if he weren't that slow. Not on the start but in speed. If it were an S, X, or Cybertruck, he'd never win.

I'm an owner of an M3P and honestly these are so old now. Yes they go fast in a straight line - I know, I have at least one full throttle event daily. But let's not for a second pretend that the Tesla is more exciting, engaging, fun or soulful to drive, regardless of its 0-100.
