Many ways to parent. Easy to intimidate a kid this way and make them turn off to big loud aggressive show guys. I get it to a point, but same goes for a coach. Temper tantrum coaching has no place in sports. That’s not being a man. Sports are great but stop pushing it as THE WAY to success. I DO agree the dad is doing a good job. I would tweak a few things in his “lesson” , but I give him props for being there, spending the time, and educating.

That message was great, not denying that at all, but it was performative for the camera bc that kids body language is very concerning. He’s flinching a lot in the first 20 seconds as if he was expecting to get hit by his dad. Lot of abuse victims respond like this. Hope I’m wrong

I don’t disagree, it’s how he says it. I wouldn’t talk to my kid like this til at least 19 yo. Likely I’d never have to talk to my kids like this. Frfr sounds like he thinks he’s got soft kids. If so, why does he think he’s got soft kids? Is it bc he lacked as a parent?
