Power of the internet allows us to decontextualize scenes from films I’d never watch and get something out of them that perhaps even the creator never intended. Powerful sequence here. We are blameless after we have gone through a valid reconciliation. Beautiful.

Fun movie. Similar to The Rite if you like that kind of campiness. Are there any books on who it’s based off of? It’d be sweet to read more into his life.

Basically the same thing occurred with the Cure of Ars, St. John Vianney. A truly amazing and wonderful saint. There was a possessed woman going through town, and as she came across people, she would speak their sins out loud. St. John Vianney was walking in the town when he came across this woman, and at first she made a move to speak of his sins, but then said that there were none. God also appeared to another saint where He said that once the sins were confessed to a priest, it was as if they had never existed. Christ also appeared to St. Augustine saying that he had not given Him everything. Puzzled, the Saint asked how that is? Then Christ said that He wanted his sins.
