We’re in the PG era man. Their target audience now is the younger generation unlike back then. Also they didn’t invest in younger and newer talent in the 2010s.

How to build up a PPV

J19_Gaming893 days ago

I'll tell you why.....talent got worse. CM Punk does a fine job and Randy Orton but outside of that, WWE isn't the same. John Cena retiring sucked any excitement I have for it.

JR just making the situation sound great even though it's was just chaos all over the place

McMahon is a total idiot. You can literally see the chemistry between HBK and Brock, and he completely botched booking a match between them back in '02 or '03

Never forget when Triple H dramatically collapsed during his main event match with Curtis Axel after his exhausting bout against Brock Lesnar the night before. It's insane to think that was real.

The REAL WrestleMania main event closes out RAW. Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi make the match extra official with a contract signing, moderated by Triple H. Did they run short on time or something? This was underwhelming. #WWERAW

That time CM Punk turned the ring into pure chaos. 💀 Orton slaps Punk. Punk gets pissed and starts punching him, then starts punching Triple H too 😂 Sweet Chin Music to Punk. Running Knee to Shawn Michaels. Pedigree to Randy Orton. Absolute cinema. 😭🍿

They really told an impactful story in such a short match it’s just CRAZY. – We’ve always seen Brock Lesnar as the beast who just dominates everybody in the ring. – At the start Brock tried to bully Oba Femi, but Oba hit right back and treated him like a complete jobber. Bro straight up threw Lesnar out of the ring. – You could see how frustrated Brock got. He’s never been bullied like that before. Even Paul Heyman’s face was perfect. (It was displaying the fact that Brock is old now) – The way Oba pulled Brock’s hair… I bet Lesnar told him to do it, because i never seen someone treating brock like that ,but damn, Oba looked like an absolute monster there – And when Oba didn’t even sell that F5, man, it made him straight up menacing. Then he crushed Brock and pinned him clean. – A new star is born and his name is Oba Femi. – Brock Lesnar did his job PERFECTLY.

Daniel Cormier says Brock Lesnar would've been one of the safest fights he could've had "We had that moment in the ring. I pushed him. He pushed me. You're telling me 'Brock you can go fight DC and lose'" "I'm beating Brock Lesnar, man. I was beating Brock. It was one of the safest fights I could have had" "He would've had to take me down to win the fight. And I can wrestle. If he shoots on me, imma make it so hard for him to get that takedown that by the time he gets it, he's exhausted. Now I'm up to my feet then you're done"

Notice how the crowd went 1...2... But then stopped. They were expecting Undertaker to kick out but he didn't. One of the most shocking moments in wrestling history. Call it bad booking but it was right decision at the time. If Shawn couldn't do it, Triple H couldn't do it. Someone had to. After this Brock went on a generational run btw.

Stone Cold Steve Austin on his Mount Rushmore: “It’s hard to pick four. You can pick four. Anybody can pick four, but my list is greater than four. I’ll say this though, Shawn Michaels is probably one of the best to ever get in a ring, if not the best. If he would be 1A, then 1B would be Eddie Guerrero. I don’t know if those aren’t interchangeable, because Eddie Guerrero was straight money, so good at so many things. I was watching a promo a few months back that he cut on Brock Lesnar, and Brock Lesnar was talking about winning championships. I love Brock, but he was talking about winning championships, and then Eddie flips it over, and he talks about coming back from being addicted and stuff like that. It was about a minute, two-minute piece of business. I think Brock was damn near about to start crying, because Eddie was just laying it on and shoot, how good he was in the ring with the things that he could do, and just the character that he created. Hulk Hogan, just larger than life. Brock Lesnar, Undertaker, Cena with the longevity of his run there. Flair is my favorite wrestler of all time, and he’s the greatest traveling world champion of all time, because no one ever did it at his level. All over the world for a shoot. Harley Race is another one. But Ric Flair for what he’s done for as long as he did it, and just the way that he did it. There’s a lot more, but I won’t build a Mount Rushmore.” (Chris Van Vliet)

I just re-watched Brock Lesnar vs Oba Femi's WrestleMania match, and if you actually pay attention to the match, it feels like the entire thing was booked to humiliate and disrespect Brock. This is Brock Lesnar..not some ordinary wrestler. A former UFC champion, one of the biggest names in the business, and arguably the last true megastar draw. And yet, he was booked like a complete jobber. He ends up jobbed to an NXT rookie who had already taken losses against smaller guy like Ricky stark, even had competitive moments against a another smaller guy like Cody Rhodes he didn't sold any moves not even Brock’s F5...That just doesn’t make sense. How do you treat a legend of Brock like that? Honestly, it feels like this kind of booking didn’t just hurt Brock aura..it straight-up humiliated him. And I genuinely believe moments like this are why he just disappeared and retired out of nowhere.. Under Vince McMahon, something like this would never happen..

Seth Rollins came up with the idea for his WrestleMania 31 Money in the Bank cash-in. 🔥 After the backlash to Roman Reigns winning the 2015 Royal Rumble, Rollins felt that putting the WWE World Heavyweight Championship on Roman at WrestleMania 31 would receive a negative reaction from the crowd. 💔 So, he pitched cashing in his Money in the Bank contract during the Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns main event, turning it into a Triple Threat Match.

18 years ago today DX reunited once again.. Shawn Michaels comes out to Sexy Boy. Mystery partner all night. He walks back behind the curtain. Then that DX music hits. Triple H WWE Champion walks out as HBK’s partner against World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho and Lance Cade. The pop was ridiculous. They get the win by DQ after Jericho and Cade wouldn’t stop double-teaming Shawn. After the bell HHH comes back with the sledgehammer on Cade and Shawn hits the splash from the ladder. Mini DX reunion on a random Raw and it still feels bigger than half the PPV moments from that year.

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque gives Brock Lesnar his flowers — “Brock does not get the credit for being as good as he is. Because he’s not your prototypical pro wrestler, he’s not looked at when you talk about the greats technically in the business… I would put him up there as one of the best of all-time. Psychology-wise, in-ring performance-wise, he did it in a unique way that was all Brock Lesnar — in a believable way. I watched him from the day he walked in the door, all the way til now, and it’s been incredible. He is an incredible, incredible, incredible performer. When he wants to do what he did over the last few months with somebody like Oba that’s a bold statement and a big one.” — via #SummerSlam Post-Show

When John Cena broke character because of a fan shouting at Daniel Bryan. 💀 Cena: “I wrestled and beat them all... Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Batista, Randy Orton, CM Punk, The Rock..” Bryan: “Wait a second, you talk about all those people like they are so much better than me?” Crowd: “They are!” Cena immediately laughing proves he 100% agreed with that guy deep down. 😭 Absolutely HILARIOUS! 😂

Brock Lesnar is the REAL Man of the People...Just heard his meet & greet was completely FREE. Yeah, you read that right ...Last biggest draw of wrestling spent 2 full hours with fans, giving out free autographs and photos with ZERO charge. You even had the option to buy his farming products for just $7 if you wanted.. Tell me one time you’ve seen Punk, Cody, or any of these other WWE wrestlers doing something like this? When big money is on the table, Punk and the anti-draw crew are suddenly all in for paid meet & greets. But when it’s not about cash.. They cry about “harassment” every time a fan asks for a picture or autograph..Brock Did it all for free. No complaints. No ego. Just straight legend behavior...Meanwhile assholes like Punk are attacking fans and crybaby Cody and other wrestlers is charging thousands of rupees for a single photo..Brock Lesnar is the man of the people. .but hated IWC incels but the real fans love him..
