It’s a painful, crazy but exciting drive. Saw that sign hundreds of times from late 80s, till 2024. SUV now at 600K km, still running strong. I guess it’s about why (journey or experience) and less about what (destination). Try next time and break the journey in 2 halves.

Never. I dont enjoy driving long distances generally, I'd rather fly, also a colleague lost his woman in an accident on that jhb to cpt drive so i can imagine the reckless driving u come across on that long route.
