I was blessed to have 2 Guinea pigs... they can be such a thrill to have, and yes, very vocal.

Each one has a distinct voice. 😊

Actually, they are saying that they are not comfortable. 🫤 It is the sound they make when another piggy is too close and they want more space. For us it seems to be cute and funny but for them situations like that are really stressfull.

They sound like a video game. 🥰🥰🥰 The one with long hair is super charged. 😂🤭

That is not a happy sound but a sound of discomfort and stress.

Guinea pigs typically chut or purr when happily being groomed. These sounds more closely resemble the sounds mine would make when asking for food or when annoyed.
