By “extremely careful,” I mean they wiped the floor dry over and over again. But since it was a traditional Thai house, and she was wearing shoes while walking, you know. We were shooting with a wide-angle camera, so I couldn’t stand close to her (though I wasn’t that far away either). Then, at one point during the take, she started walking a little faster. It was the very last take of that scene because we’d already finished filming all the other camera angles. Then… she slipped!! The first thing that crossed my mind was her hand because she instinctively put it out to break her fall. The floor where she fell was like 2 steps, and one of her legs hit the higher step. Thankfully, the actor who was in the same scene with her caught her in time, so the hand she put down didn’t take her full body weight. That’s why only her leg ended up getting injured. Can you believe that the moment it happened, everyone rushed over like zombies? We all swarmed in, the director, the assistant directors, the crew… everyone. Why are these horrible date ideas & what mistakes did these guys make? 1️⃣ MOVIES: if you want to make a movie date work, your arm needs to be around her the entire time, you need to be whispering into her ear, talking with her, joking with her, and touching her (oh, and it probably shouldn’t be a first date… unless you guys really hit it off the first time you met before the date). You 100% do not want to do the thing where you go to the movies, ignore her for 2 hours, and stare at a screen.
