Off duty officer had to chase shoplifter though the store only to get sprayed as the criminal makes their escape. An off-duty police officer working security at a department store was alerted to an active shoplifting incident. The victim was shot on the downtown No. 2 train subway platform at the President Street - Medgar Evers College Station at around 11:45 p.m. The incident happened while the woman was on her way home from work. "He wanted my necklaces first, and I had told them they were fake. He started to grab my bag, my purse, and he kept on telling me to give me my purse I gave him my purse and I listened to him. This woman was denied entry into a restaurant because they claimed to be full yet others were walking in. After she caught them letting others in she was told it would be a $5 fee. But the other people weren’t charged the same fee. The restaurant was having a World Cup event and was charging a $5 fee for people to enter. The people she saw walking in was part of another group that already paid. However she didn’t know that and there was no way for her to know that, so she drew her own conclusions on why she wasn’t allowed in. Just like in my last post, it would avoid so much confusion and drama if these establishments just posted a simple sign, otherwise it can be easy to jump to a wrong conclusion as to why people can’t get in but others can. There was a time I had tried to get into my local pool and the same thing happened. I wasn’t allowed in and others were walking in no problems at all. I sat there and wondered why, it’s not like they showed ID, there didn’t seem to be a list of names or anything and this place goes by membership which I have a membership for. So what other reason could it be to deny me? The pool also has a gym and a banquet room where people can reserve for events for a fee. Normally they have signage as for the event and who it was for but this day I didn’t see anything indicating any event would be taking place. I did end up leaving. The following week I went to work out and I did speak to a manager to see what the happened. It turned out the pool area was closed due to an accident. Someone slipped and fell, so that’s why I wasn’t allowed into the pool area. Others were walking in to use the other facilities that the location offers. So it was a reasonable reason but all it took was for someone to give an explanation and it could have saved much headache. I feel when an establishment is in business for the public that they owe us an explanation otherwise it turns into a huge headache for them.

The lady was seen shouting at her boyfriend, asking how he could treat her like that after everything she had done for him. The guy, who remained calm, seemed confused about what was going on and why his girlfriend was reacting that way in public. People around quickly stepped in to separate them and prevent the situation from escalating into a f!ght. The lady then ordered her boyfriend to come back to the car and leave the place with her, which he did.

It looks to me like that guy was just protecting the lady with a backpack, when he was pepper sprayed at first. That is when he got tackled by the agents, and dragged back onto the street. Here it is zoomed in, and @ 50% speed. Much easier to see it this way. He clearly did not undertake any offensive action towards the agents at all. The most he did was to raise his left hand, protecting himself from the pepper spray. The lady with a back pack also seems to be getting back onto the street. but only because the guy was holding her by the hood of her jacket. So, when got pulled back onto the street, she also got pulled out with him.

If you’ve ever wondered how quickly a situation can completely spiral out of control, this bodycam footage from the Cranston Police Department is the ultimate example. What started as a response to a standard domestic dispute turned into a chaotic chain reaction involving a random assault, a near-riot, and three separate arrests. Here is the wild backstory of exactly what went down at this Garrett's Family Market gas station: The entire incident kicked off when a young woman ran into the gas station convenience store, visibly shaken and crying. Store employees reported that she was desperately trying to escape her boyfriend, who had chased her inside. As employees rushed her into a secure backroom for her protection, the boyfriend tried to force his way past the workers, aggressively shouting, "You don't know who I am." When police arrived, they located the boyfriend outside. The moment officers attempted a routine pat-down for weapons, the suspect became highly uncooperative, tensing up, resisting, and threatening the officers by telling them, "I'll body the [expletive] out of both of you."
