That time Daniel Bryan got eliminated from NXT and after getting told he had "drowned" in WWE, he mentions his original name Bryan Danielson on live TV, infuriating Vince McMahon backstage.

Daniel Bryan's story of an interview he had with Matt Striker. This was right after he got eliminated from NXT. Taken from his book "Yes!: My Improbable Journey to the Main Event of WrestleMania"

Matt striker calls him Daniel at the start and ends it with "Bryan, best of luck with your future endeavours"

Cameraman was shaking from the aura

I love love LOVE this clip, cuz the cameraman was either getting INSANELY excited or getting absolutely SCREAMED at in his earpiece... Either way, he was LOSING IT HARD. 😂😂

Damn, was Vince holding the camera?

Matt Striker should've gotten heat for that hahaha. He was instigating it, he knew what he was doing.

you can tell with the cameraman shaking as he made this promo that bryan was destined to be a legend

I miss Striker.

Seems like the only time you should be a "good soldier" in the WWE is if you're over with people in charge of booking. Whereas if you get yourself over with fans and the office doesn't like that, your only choice to survive is to NOT be a good soldier.

The camera man was shitting his pants it seems. Also funny how he drown in wwe till he left 🙃

dropping your real name on live tv just to prove a point is the most unhinged power move ive ever seen and honestly he was right to do it

vince panicking over bryan danielson is always funny cause thats literally just his name. like what did he expect him to say
