There needs to be a live webcam on that stop sign. Only a small percentage of drivers stop that I've observed in a decade of riding through there.

This happens to me all the time. It is very poor angle to look back over the shoulder for drivers, but in this case I don’t think they even checked.

Idiot driver; should absolutely get a ticket for that. But — speaking as a fellow bicyclist — also irresponsible of you not to anticipate and slow down defensively; I would have never continued at your pace without making eye contact first and ensuring the driver was stopping.
