I saw Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy in Before Sunrise right on cable in the mid 90’s . . . I thought it was cute, not great but a different kind of romantic comedy. Fast forward ten(ish) years later when they did Before Sunset and it went from being a little cute story to brilliant as I loved every aspect of this film especially this ending which was beyond romantically perfect and beyond beautifully done. “The first film is what it could be, the second is about what should have been and the last film is about what it is." - Ethan Hawke
