That white line is there for a reason

Even without that line, a crosswalk is there. They serve the same function in this context. You're supposed to stop before them.

I don't even think the white line would have helped you. If you see a semi making a right turn into you, stop WAY back. Help them out.

Asking way too much. A large percentage of people won't burn a calorie and use a brain cell to use a turn signal. My favorite is watching someone change lanes a few times without one then proceed to finally use it...in a turn only lane. Gee thanks.

Only ticket I ever got was for running a stop sign, stop sign was 10 feet before the white line, I stopped at the stop sign and drove on, state trooper educated me to stop at the white line, not the stop sign.

The solid white line on the road means NO OVERTAKING. It is there for a very good reason!

I've done this twice.... I've gotten out of my vehicle, gone into the crosswalk and climbed up and walked across the hood of a vehicle. And then I dared them to say anything to me.

The white line is a cross walk, maybe the trucker should learn to drive or hand in those cdls if he can't manage the vehicle

Never understood why it’s so hard to stop behind the white line. It’s for Buses and trucks to have the best chances of turning right without disrupting traffic. Also helps for people turning on red going the same direction as the person blocking the crosswalk

As a pedestrian I couldn't agree more! I've walked in front of people doing this and they get pissed at me! Somehow they think honking at me while they're waiting at a red while over the crosswalk is smart so I forget how to walk unless there's people behind them.
