Today in Calhoun County, we launched the first in a series of roundtables to hear directly from our public safety leaders across the state about their priorities — and to strengthen the partnership between state leadership and local law enforcement. Thank you, Sheriff Michael Bryant, for your leadership and generosity in hosting us, and to the sheriffs and police officers who traveled from surrounding counties in the Panhandle to be part of this important conversation.

We launched the Caldwell Institute for Public Safety to challenge broken policies and restore common sense to public safety. Woke, soft-on-crime policies put everyday people at risk. FBI Honolulu trains alongside bomb technicians from our federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, so when a call comes in about a bomb threat or suspicious package, we can get to work immediately. #Partnerships are at the core of the work the #FBI carries out every day, and have a direct impact on the safety of our communities. By sharing resources, expertise, and time in the field together, we maintain the operational readiness that is key to defending the homeland. So far this year, FBI Honolulu’s Special Agent Bomb Technician team has participated in ✅ Seven operational deployments (e.g., home labs, HAZMAT clears, suspicious packages) ✅ Provided 14 training sessions to partner agencies, including support of our International Operations Division in Qatar. At any given time, FBI Honolulu's bomb technicians are prepared to support over a dozen federal, state, and local agencies in Hawaii and Guam. This is how we keep our communities safe–because when the stakes are life and death, seamless is the only standard that matters. On October 28, 2025, we had the privilege of delivering TEN Patrol Cybertrucks to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. We are honored to support LVMPD as the first police department to field a Cybertruck fleet, and we could not be more excited to stand with what we consider the most advanced police department operating in one of the most forward thinking cities in the world. This project was made possible by donor funding, at zero expense to taxpayers. It reflects a shared commitment to officer safety, community trust, and responsible innovation. Video shows a Pasadena police officer accidentally shooting another officer on Sept. 7, 2025, in an incident inside the department’s parking garage. On Wednesday, the department released the video to the public, as law enforcement agencies are required under state law to release Critical Incident Video. "The Pasadena Police Department remains committed to serving our community with integrity, accountability, and respect. Accordingly, horseplay and or failure to adhere to safety rules and standards of professional conduct will not be tolerated," Pasadena Police Chief Gene Harris said.

Good morning to everyone in Massachusetts who know why we have sky-high costs. Massachusetts is now one of the most expensive states in the country to live in. Housing is out of reach, energy bills keep climbing, groceries cost more every month, and taxes never seem to go down. This didn’t happen by accident. It’s the result of decades of one-party Democrat control on Beacon Hill. Look around the country. The highest cost-of-living states are almost all Democrat-run. Meanwhile, many of the most affordable states are run by Republicans. That’s not coincidence. It’s policy. Democrats love to talk about affordability, but their policies make nothing more affordable. More regulation, higher taxes, higher energy costs, and endless spending drive businesses and families out of Massachusetts every year. Even wages tell the story. Working people felt relief when Republicans pushed for economic growth and fiscal restraint. When Democrats regain full control, spending explodes and real wages fall behind the cost of living. There is a clear pattern. One-party rule makes Massachusetts more expensive and less livable. Common-sense conservative leadership would lower costs, keep businesses here, and make this state affordable again for families who just want a fair shot. Massachusetts doesn’t need excuses. It needs change.
