Arkansas 6’3 Freshman Darius Acuff has had an extremely impressive start to his season. Through his first four games he’s averaging 20/3/5 while shooting 50% from the field and 42% from three on 6 attempts a game. Acuff has been one of the early best freshmen and draft prospects in college basketball this season, with his ability to score and playmake. Acuff has scored the ball on all 3 levels at an elite level, shooting 63% at the rim, 46% from the mid range and 42% from three all on high usage. He’s an advanced PNR operator and has been one of the best transition players in the country as well. Acuff’s craft as a creator for himself and his teammates is extremely impressive for his age. Acuff’s mix of 3 level scoring, playmaking , and pace for his age makes him one of the most talented players in this years draft and he’s made a strong case in being a potential top 10 pick.

As this year plays out, that will be something we'll probably start to figure out. If they do win 30-something games and LaMelo plays 65-70, he's good and healthy, that'll look one way. "The the elite shooting from mid range is such a big deal in our game, it's the late-clock ability, his overall size, his ability to play in the middle of the floor, which is really hard to come double people and not give up the three point line to a team like they have, I would just say his continued evolution in his game. "He's an elite, All-Star player, two-way player. UConn signee Colben Landdrew continues to perform at very high level since his ultra impressive summer. The 6-6 235 senior has been fantastic for wheeler during his senior season, averaging 20.4 PPG, 7.6 RPG and 2.5 APG while shooting an efficient 65.4% TS% Really good athlete combined with impressive downhill strength, that allows him to be an elite finisher, while he is best in transition, his game OTD keeps growing, showed real flashes this summer. UConn has a dynamic talent coming in, one of the best in the class.
