The fish got stunned from being thrown 15 ft. Pure disrespect towards wildlife there. If he had let him off the side of the boat the eagle would have never caught the fish.

Friends and I were boating on the lake in the piedmont of NC. We'd tucked back in a cove to play in the water. We were the last to pull away and were lucky enough to look over and see this MASSIVE eagle swoop down less than 30 feet away, grab a fish, and fly back to its nest. No one could say a word. We just looked at each other in awe with dropped jaws. Still one of my most favorite memories. ❤️🦅🇺🇲
