$I hear so often from the Dommes I work with that they struggle with people online fetichizing them and simply seeing them for how sexy and beautiful they are. When you create content, think of them and what this scene or that narrative is evoking. What will they learn from you? I beg some of these people to take some time in the training area, just 10-20 minutes tops, to learn the basics of the mechanics. That clip just reinforces why devs add a training mode to games like this, why it's in your best interest to at least practice basic mechanics and combos. It's crazy how much more fun a game can be when you at least try to engage with what the game gives you instead of doing the bare minimum.

This is absolutely the right advice Too many people come into the corporate workplace thinking they are a rebel and will change how things work The reality is that if you want to get ahead, you need to play the game that has been laid out You can opt out of the game if you wish and follow your own path Maybe once you are senior enough at the MD or PM level, you can try to change the culture But until then, learning to play it is your best bet of moving ahead in your career
