That’s because Skywalker Ranch did all the sound work! Sky Crawlers is a beautiful film, and the sound of the Skyly’s whiny supercharger is burned into my brain. I cannot praise this movie enough. I love the Teacher as a looming threat that you don’t come back from encountering.
