i see this post is causing a lot of discourse. i feel like a lot of (younger) people don’t know prime britney/her influence and that tinashe really is inspired by her as well as janet (who is britney’s idol!)

she just really reminded me of britney from the onyx hotel tour in THIS particular performance - but honestly she has paved her own lane now with glimpses of those who came before her (janet, britney, aaliyah, mya etc)‼️‼️
