Love this!!! I was a manager and that was how I would of handle this. He just earned respect from the employee and satisfied the customer.

Then everyone would get riled up just to get free stuff. He probably mixed up the date himself when ordering, that shit is automated, the receipt doesn't lie. Don't reward stupidity

I would be lean forward, put my index finger on their lips and tell them "Shhhhhhh". That way I'd get fired and someone else could deal with their shit.
