I am not even a mechanic and I feel a deep need to torque those puppies all to the lines. Inside a shower mixer is the heat and flow control with a bunch of nylon gears. I oriented all of the words on the gears before I close up.

Back it off, replace hardware in something nice like this, retorque, rematch mark. Stupid thing to do, could lead to a crash. 🤷‍♂️

Guarantee most mechanics wouldn’t give a fuck about non-production bolt marks and all of them would just be laughing about how stupid the owner is.

I do not use lines on bolt heads except as a reference to tell me how far it has turned DURING tightening. If I'm concerned about it being loose, I check with a tool. I don't use lines for this.
