That’s so wild. I had a cop do something similarly crazy with me once. I broke down on the side of the highway and was in kind of a bind getting off (family in the hospital/nobody to call for a lift), and he said “alright. I’m gonna get you to put the car in neutral, and I’m gonna push you a few miles up the road to the next exit ramp where you can get off for the night.” He went on to say: “When I get in my car, I’m gonna put the brush gaurd of my cruiser against your rear bumper and start pushing - but I’m going to need you to be very careful with the ignition or gear shift. If you touch either and your steering-wheel locks-up, I’m going to have push you off the highway into the woods out of safety for the other drivers.” A few moments later, damned if he didn’t do it. Got in his car, gave some instructions over the loudspeaker, and the next thing you know we’re on the interstate going 60-mph in midday traffic - his bumper occasionally tapping mine for a little extra speed until we got to the exit ramp where he pushed me up and then down the main road to a parking lot I could leave the car for the night. It was one of the coolest things someone could’ve done for me in a bind like that - but one of the most nerve wracking few minutes of my life. When he said he was gonna “push me up the road,” I envisioned going 15-30mph along the shoulder until we got up to the exit ramp. I did not envision merging out into traffic going 60 miles an hour in a dead car w power steering that was one wrong move from getting me pit maneuvered into the trees 🤣. Still very cool of him to help out and the little leeway the were able to give during a bind

I had a cop race me the other day in my 2006 WRX STI up a main road. he was gunning it and everything. I went up to 65 in a 45 racing him but then I stopped cause I wasn't sure if it was a trap either. (night time, no communication)

i love how they hide the license plate so the cop didn't get in trouble for letting him do this its the little things that matter cops can be cool people too just don't break the law and know the law surprised a cop let him do this though

When the Cadillac ATSV dropped I got one right away on the way home on the i99 a cop pulled up to me and said run it I want to see what that has after I smoked him he lit my ass up pulled me over and told me he was going to the dealer to get him one 😂🤣

As a teen in So Cal, we would drink on the beach at night, not making a scene or littering. Cop snuck up on us and said when we leave, our cars better stay put. And then he said,"and don't tell me the least drunk asshole is driving!" 90's cops were the best! Much respect.

When doing my driving test the officer from DOT said to me let’s go see what this car can do. New (at the time) 2002 AU Fairmont Ghia. He told me I could handle a motor vehicle & passed me. I now drive for DOT.
