Australia charges a flat 1.5% of what you earn for our Medicare - regardless of income. The super rich get a 1% surcharge under certain conditions. Anyone can go into hospital for emergencies and elective surgeries and come out owing absolutely nothing. Sounds pretty fair to me.

@GOP doesn’t care. They’ve had 10 years to come up with their own healthcare plan (remember trump was going to have one in 2 weeks 8 years ago) & not only haven’t they come up with a plan they’ve been dismantling Obamacare along the way every chance they had.

@JamesGrahamAuth America is one fucked up place. People can actually go BANKRUPT by being ill?! Or having a baby?! And people CHOOSE to live there? You're all bloody mental.

So what you’re really saying is Obamacare is imploding under its own weight and Democrats are to blame. They’re scared that folks will start noticing.

We get it! Obamacare is the worst legislation ever and has done more damage to health care costs than anything. Dems should have never passed it. Dems should have never subsidized it. The only people that like it is big insurance companies. (The ones that helped draft it)

No one would be able to afford this, except for millionaires and billionaires.

I’ll NEVER understand why “average” Americans support the #GOP, which cruelly puts #BasicHealthCare out of their reach. How can you worship those who don’t give a toss if you live or die? You’re all bloody nuts! 🫨😵‍💫 #Health #HealthCare #HealthInsurance

No wonder why it’s the richest country, all the 1% rich are getting richer while the 99% of the population are becoming less and less able to afford the bare minimum to survive.

People are struggling and drowning in debt while corporations and billionaires pay fractions of not 0% in taxes. Medicaid,Medicare, ACA, SNAP are not the problem. These increases will break people.

What Obamacare did was remove benefits from the working insured and pass it onto the mon-working poor and illegals for free. Plus it created another entitlement program where insurance companies can keep raising the rates of the subsidies! Repeal the ACA now!

This is why @SpeakerJohnson and Trump want a shutdown They knew these healthcare increases were coming

There will be a lot of people that will die because they can’t afford these changes. Trump keeps saying how great things are in our country. Most of us have no clue what he is talking about. But we do know he does not care about us.

GOP or I say Trump hates Obamacare because of it’s success, he is tearing up piece of by piece. so he can win, he doesn’t care about the american people but himself, and the GOP is helping Trump destroying the life of American people 🤡💀🥸

Why is the “Affordable Care Act” so unaffordable that it requires massive government subsidies?

The MAGA Republican Party basis of existing is lying. The mistake they made during the current shutdown is that they were not talking to their cult following, but to the American people - critical thinking Americans. #HoldTheLineDemocrats

If the GOP allows this to happen they’ll never win another election for so much as PTA president, let alone a seat in Congress. It will be their undoing for a generation. As much as they’d love the pain to be felt by only democrats in blue states, not even that most devious vindictive prick who claims to be president, can work out the math on that one-He will lose supporters by the millions as soon as these premiums hit us( next month?) There’s not much hope for anything these days, but watching the GOP IMPLODE sure would help my dark mood.

It’s inhumane and disgusting Republicans think this is acceptable to the American middle class. My family will be voting every Republican out of office in the state of Florida.

Do insurance providers just assume people will pay this? I am taking a wild guess millions will be dropping insurance and we’ll be back to where we were before 2010 with millions uninsured.

Lmao THIS is what 77m Trump supporting MAG(A) cultist voted for so they can own some fn libs or leftist & what millions more of lazy ass people refused to protect themselves from by keeping these jackasses from making & enforcing rules & laws for them. Congratulations, stupid people are annoying & dangerous. WE TOLD YOU SO. This isn’t about politics, f em all, it’s about common sense & there’s ZERO reason to trust a child predator, convicted felon, serial predator, daughter sexualizing, compulsive lying, teen beauty pageant creeper, white nationalist minded bigot & bible selling conman to lead the country. They’re not arguing to help people that make 130k a year. They don’t give two shits about most Americans. They’re arguing to help those on Medicaid subsidies to stay on Medicaid. That’s it. They’ll fix none of this, only increase taxes/debt to cover up failing Obamacare.

Federal subsidies in healthcare industry was 2.4 trillion. Why is WTP $ going to Fortune 500 healthcare providers. They use it pay stockholders rather than being put back into the healthcare system in past 20 years they spent 95% net income doing this. WHY IS OUR $ USED 4 this?

Whats the point if living in a country where you pay tens of different types of taxes, but has no access to free health, education & shelter or safety? If there’s zero tax on your income & you pay for your health, education etc then that what makes sense!
