Baseball fights are so stupid. If you want to fight, go do UFC. I remember a guy I played minor league ball with who was always talking about having each other’s backs and running into every scrum. One day he got genuinely pissed at me because I said if one of our guys did something stupid, I probably wasn’t sprinting into the middle of it. Funny thing is, he eventually made the big leagues and got his ass kicked in one of the more memorable baseball fights of the last decade.

Are those pitches really intentional or just very bad wild pitches? I am a baseball casual but I would say even if the pitch is wild but not intentional and still hits the batter, it should be penalized with a run and 4 game suspension. They are clearly targetting Ohtani there.

Ohtani is also the only pitcher left who stands in the batters box. He can also throw upper 90's when he takes the mound.

I was HBP a record number of times my last 2 yrs. Never once thought about going after the pitcher I was there to win so I just acted like I didn't feel it and jogged down to first. 🤣 I was in the locker one day after an away game where I got hit and a team mate said WTF!? IS that were that ball hit you? I had a 6" brown and yellow circle on my thigh with a blue spot the size of the baseball in the middle. I swear you could see the seam threads in the impression. Gotta Love baseball.
